I am the proud owner of a Prism fountain pen from Bluestem Pens. I have been using a fountain pen for 55 years and do not go anywhere without one. Two aspects are critical to me in a fountain pen: balance and flow. My Prism pen has great balance, partially because of the magnetic cap that adds just the right amount of weight to ensure a proper balance when resting in one’s hand. As for flow, it is really perfect. I use it as my “dipping pen” on my desk, i.e., I dip it into a bottle of ink and write without filling the piston. A key test for any pen is writing on high quality paper and the Prism does a great job. I highly recommend the pen.
